I go to the local gym regularly to get back my strength so I am ready to complete this journey in the spring and while I am there I work at getting people to write, I hooked up with a member of the L.I. Veterans Asc. Who is working to have me as a speaker and support our efforts.

Went to a Super Bowl Party and watching the game I see when they are out there it isn’t about the money for those few brief moments, it’s about the game and when you have gone that far you have done your best, they are united and single minded, that is what I want for us to do our best, to be single minded and when we win everyone wins and this is no game. Someone told me, We can do, what I can’t.

Wayne (my friend) came over last night and spent 2 hours helping me, he has come over for the past 2 weeks to help spending several hours. He does it because he believes in the cause, he wants to do his part; when all the parts are put together it is complete. No matter how small, it all counts, what is the part I am called to do?

Got hold of John Kerry’s office and talked to his people who will be looking at our plan; everyday something is done to promote the cause.

Talked to a member of the L.I. Veterans Association and will be talking to them Friday the 9th.

Talked with the Long Island Veterans on L.I. TV, they said they will look at our plan and said they don’t see any problem endorsing us. After the interview I went upstate to a Sterling Men’s Retreat to see what their about as well as enroll them in our cause.

Being at this seminar some thought have come up for me, one is that when I was younger it seemed that you backed your country right or wrong and now either I have changed or the general populations attitude has changed to question that. Is it the media or that there is such an abyss between us and our leaders?
